Today! We did something I thought I would never be part of in my life, due to me never really having an attraction to outdoor real rock climbing especially with my size because I am not the smallest guy around! Lol! We got up there and my buddy Vinny and I teamed up together and we took on the day together. We had similar feelings about the situation and the challenge and worked our way though our climbs. I think what made it so challenging is that it is so hard to simulate rock climbing at Ellensburg High School with their rock wall where you have many many grips up the wall where as in Peshastin there was very few grips like what EHS offered. Also I had no idea how to repel until I got to the top and Fred Stanley taught me on the rock and just lowering overall was completely different then at EHS. We worked though our climbs together and were completely supportive of each other the whole day and I am pretty sure me and Vinnie don’t complete our climbs if we weren’t there for each other. Overall we challenged our selves with everything we did that day and got to feel proud for what we did and got dinner afterwards with the volunteer climbers and professors at Gustaves.Life's obstacles wouldn't be called hurdles if there wasn't away around them!
