The Ellensburg School District has had a unique scheduling setup this year in which they have had several half days on Fridays through this school year. The PE Club has put on an After School Clubhouse at Lincoln elementary school this year. This service is put on for multiple reasons - One for elementary students don't have to go home on half days, parents can pick their children at a more convenient time, students can have more physical activity time added to their day, raise money for the physical eduction club and so us students can spend more time interacting with students in a Physical Education setting. I have got to spend a lot of time with various types of students while doing various activities. I have also got to spend time with Professors at the Clubhouse in more of a one on one situation while discussing teaching methods. here are some photos from the last clubhouse!
