The title for me kinda sounds like the this quarter. I am just trying to whatever I can to get from the beginning to end! but this post pertains to the orienteering course we took this past Thursday. We meet up in the field house and learned all the parts to a compass and how to use it by having to get to targets and traveling in a perfect triangle. The best part was having to use the map to get to different areas of campus while having to get there and answering questions. So it turned into a campus wide scavenger hunt where my teammates Drew and Mike were able to accomplish with quickness and success. As a group we used a lot of teamwork and problem solving skills to get though the list of places and questions! after accomplishing the scavenger hunt I started thinking about how I would love to start off school years with an activity like this especially with students that are new to the school like freshmen in high school. Also since this is out only day spent on orienteering this quarter so by completing the days activities we earned an advanced grade to give me two on the quarter thus far.
