1st class is over with, the teacher showed some links to student's past web pages and the 1st one was fellow PE major who had a picture on the front page with me in it, got a good laugh to see me on the big screen in class! lol! the teacher said there will be homework everyday! awesome!!! i feel i am pretty cpu savvy to an extent so i think i will be just fine!
To THE COHORT, this has honestly been one of the greatest expeiences i have endured in my life and i thank everyone in the COHORT for bringing what thet bring to the group! from head to toe we and had a unique and diverse group which was filled with just great people! it's been a great 2 years and it has gone by so fast!
just for kicks i made another blog for the cohort so check it out!
This class was unlike any class I have ever had or even heard of. Everyday we were challenged in a new and different way. I give thanks to those who made it possible. I feel I am now better off because accomplishing this class help me take on challenges and deal adversity in a different way then I have ever been faced with before and I have now grown as a teacher and as a student because of it. on the quarter i received a 3.7 GPA which is not that great of an accomplishment for most but for me it is the best GPA I have ever received including high school, finding this out gave me great relief since the grades were above par for me and that it meant that the quarter was over! it shows that hard work and dedication can go as far as you want it too!
I start summer quarter in the next week! I have a 18 credit class load but I have to do what I have to do to make sure my student teaching works out this Fall with Brian Hagbo at Ellensburg High School.
I plan on continuing this blog since I find it relaxing and helpful to post what I am up to. it allows me too look back and see what I have done!....till next time!
Today was the last day of the weight lifting class I taught this quarter which in it's self was my practicum 4 class. I got to teach a great class of 17 great individuals. So I wanted to give thanks to all of my students that made this class so great. So thanks to Nathan, Kazuhito, Marit, Ryan, Chet, Chase, Lupe, Luz, Abdullah, Cabera, Adam, Paul, Dan, Jake, Carolina, Chris, and Cindy!
So after closing the last 3 nights at Pizza Hut where I am a manger at, I was pretty tired and on top of that soon as I left work last night the allergies started getting to me so when I got home right before 1 am I took a couple Benadryl to help with the symptoms .....Bad Idea! I passed out and next thing I knew I woke up and was already 20 minutes late for class!!! I hustled to class and got a late start but I was able to test out in juggling, Frisbee, and diabolo which was a great feeling! Now all I have left are all the ones with wheels! Unicycling, Bike Riding, and Rollerblading it's weird how I have never been a fan of these but by the end of the quarter I will have these done!.....also the photos from our climbing trip is on this link so check it out!
What up! this where I blog my life, I use it pretty much like a personal journal but this is way is easier to keep up on it and be able to look back and see what i have done! feel free to leave comments and tell me what ya think!
The Cohort in Movement 4
This was after our Basketball tournment using the Sport Education Model!
I am a 22 year old Central Washington University student in the Physical Education program. I was born and raised in the Olympia area and graduated from Black Hills High School in 2005. While I was there I was taught and coached under a Great man who influenced me to pursue the idea of Teaching Physical education and Coaching Football! Since then I have taken the steps needed to make it happen!
i think this quote help sum up why i am doing what i am doing!
